"

  1. A court eviction notice. (Detainer Warrant)

how can I appLy?

"

Apply online here.

what can I receive?

"

This form serves as a request for free legal aid, but not all who submit this form will receive assistance due to the anticipated high demand. Those selected will first have to sign a letter of representation, and will be paired with an attorney to receive court representation and guidance. You will be notified via email and an attorney will contact you via your preferred contact information. If we are unable to provide assistance at this time, we will notify you via email.

how CAN I RECEIVE RENTAL ASSISTANCE?

"

This program provides representation, not emergency rental assistance (ERA). However, if you are behind on your rent and have not yet received ERA assistance, an assigned attorney may recommend that you apply for the ERA to receive funds to avoid eviction. Tenants who apply for ERA assistance, including tenants who are eligible and ineligible for the ERA and tenants who have already received ERA funds, can still receive this free legal representation. But you must apply to both programs separately. Please apply for free legal assistance here, and for Emergency Rental Assistance here.
